The only reason I occasionally watch the News anymore is for these rare glimpses of the oddjobs out there. It seems like the stations go out of there way to find these people and make sure they get their 5 minutes, errrr 10 seconds, of fame. Many of these videos have become popular recently reaching millions of view on Youtube. "Hide yo kids, hide yo wife", "Leprechauns in Alabama", and "I like Turtles" are just the tip of the metaphorical iceberg.
Do they do it for ratings?
Is it wrong of them?
Does it skew people's views of America?
Do people give a shit about the local news?
None the less this dude is a hero, you know stealing a Quran and all. His video surely will rise to the ranks of the others, he has already been demeaned auto-tune material. In all seriousness, ha, I dig the guy's style. Large glasses, no shirt, Obi-Wan style ponytail. The image of a hero.
